Bed and Breakfast

Rose-Fitt House was built in 1897 using locally quarried carrstone. In it’s earlier years as a guesthouse and nursing home, it was called ‘Boston View’, and was given it’s present name in the late 80’s, after research showed a ‘Mr Rose’ and a ‘Mr Fitt’, were prominent names on the first lease of the property.

In 2003, the present owners, Phil and Andrea purchased the house in quite a bad state of repair, and after 11 months of renovation, Rose-Fitt House Bed & Breakfast opened it’s doors with  2 guest accommodation rooms.

Today, there are 5, tastefully appointed, ‘4 Star , Gold award’, guest rooms, consisting of a twin room on the ground floor, a double,  kingsize and  family suite on the 1st floor, and another family suite on the 2nd floor.

All rooms have en-suite shower facilities, tv/dvd, hospitality tray, hairdryer, alarm clock and other handy items.

The house is situated in a quiet residential area overlooking Lincoln Square Green, where you can sit on a warm evening and watch the sunset into the sea, Hunstanton being the only town on the East coast that actually faces west !

We are a few minutes walk from the town centre, with its shops, cafe’s, restaurants, theatre, ten-pin bowling, sealife centre, amusements and fun fair. A few hundred yards in front of the house are the famous red striped cliffs, where you can access the lovely safe beach.

We welcome well behaved school age children (and their well behaved parents), but sorry we cannot accommodate pets.

A full English, and /or Continental breakfast is served between 7.45am and 9.00am in our lovely sea-view dining room. Earlier breakfasts by arrangement.

Rooms are available for occupation between 2pm - 3pm, but if this is not  possible, please call to arrange a more suitable time.

Please vacate rooms by 10.30 on the day of departure.
